HOW WE HELP
One-on-one guidance. Right where you are.
We don't wait for families to find us. We go to them.
HOW WE WORK
Not a referral. Not a workshop. A relationship.
Anchored Pathways provides bilingual, family-centered navigation that walks with families through key decisions — not just a one-time appointment. We stay with families across 12–18 months, meeting them where trust already exists and addressing the real complexity of their situation, including immigration status and Texas licensing realities.

Navigation happens where trust already exists.
OUR COMMITMENTS
Four things we never compromise on:
Bilingual & Family-Centered
Spanish-first when that's what's needed. Parents and guardians are co-decision-makers — not observers. We speak to the whole family, not just the student. Every session, every document, every conversation.
Status-Aware
We explicitly consider immigration status and licensing rules when mapping options. We do not send families into paths that will close on them later. This is one of the clearest gaps in existing college access services — and one of our most important contributions.
Relational & Mobile
We meet families where trust already exists — faith communities, school parking lots, community centers, wherever they already gather. We don't ask families to come to us. We go to them.
Evidence-Aligned
Our model draws on research showing that multi-contact, sustained advising produces the largest gains in college access and completion. Single appointments don't move the needle. Relationships do.
WHAT FAMILIES RECEIVE
Here's what working with us actually looks like.
-
A first real conversation — to understand your goals, your family situation, and what's actually possible
-
Honest exploration of college, training, and apprenticeship pathways with attention to real return
-
Bilingual FAFSA and TASFA support, start to finish
-
Guidance on how Texas licensing rules may affect specific trades and career paths — before a commitment is made
-
Support through applications, financial aid decisions, and the transition into college or training

All navigation support is currently offered at no cost to participating families. Capacity is intentionally limited so every family receives real, focused attention.
WHERE WE WORK
We go where families already are.
We meet families in faith communities, school parking lots, community centers, and local gathering spaces that are already part of their daily lives. Our work is sustained and relational — not event-based. We stay with families through the decisions that matter, not just the paperwork.
A single appointment isn't navigation. It's a starting point.
Coming soon: a mobile advising presence that brings bilingual support directly into community spaces across Houston.
