Building Pathways to Opportunity
Across Houston, many families want their children to pursue college or career training, but navigating those systems has become increasingly complex.
Applications, financial aid, transfer options, and workforce pathways often require families to interpret unfamiliar systems without clear guidance.
Anchored Pathways exists to ensure families do not have to navigate these systems alone.
EARLY IMPACT
Anchored Pathways began providing navigation support to families in 2025.

Community-
Based Pilot
During the initial phase, support included assistance with:
- FAFSA and financial aid navigation
- college application planning
- career pathway exploration
- education decision support
Each family received individualized guidance to help them move from confusion to clear next steps.
"As a bilingual family, the college process felt like a labyrinth. Anchored Pathways was the anchor we needed to secure our children's educational future in Houston with confidence and clarity."

Community Collaboration
Anchored Pathways works alongside trusted community spaces where families already gather, including faith communities, local organizations, and neighborhood networks.
These partnerships help ensure families can access guidance in places where trust already exists.
Help Expand Access
Anchored Pathways is building a community-based navigation model to expand access to higher education guidance.
You can support this work by:
