PROGRAM DETAILS

Choose the kind of support that fits your family right now.

Some families need a place to learn.

Others need help with a specific question, decision, or next step.

Anchored Pathways offers both —

in English and Spanish, at no cost to families.

You do not have to figure everything out before reaching out. Whether your family is trying to understand financial aid, compare certificates and college options, decide if dual credit makes sense, or sort through what comes after an acceptance, we are here to help you make sense of what comes next.

Anchored Pathways: LEARN

Free bilingual sessions that help families understand what no one clearly explains.
webinar

Learn is our free bilingual education series for families who want to better understand college, career, financial aid, and postsecondary options before making a decision. Sessions are built for first-generation and bilingual families who want honest, practical guidance without pressure or confusion.

Series title:
Secrets of Higher Education: What No One Tells You

How it works
We host regular bilingual sessions on real topics families are trying to understand right now. Sessions are designed to help you feel more informed, more prepared, and more confident about the decisions ahead.

Who it is for

Learn is a good fit if your family is:

  • Trying to understand the difference between certificate, 2-year, and 4-year paths.

  • Looking for the best value, not just the most familiar option.

  • Unsure how FAFSA, TASFA, scholarships, and financial aid fit together.

  • Exploring career training, college, or transfer options.

  • Feeling overwhelmed and wanting a place to start.

Topics may include

  • FAFSA and TASFA — which one your family needs and how to complete it.

  • How to compare college, community college, workforce training, and certification options.

  • What to consider before choosing a major, program, or pathway.

  • Texas licensing rules and how they can affect career decisions.

  • What happens after a student gets accepted — and what families should check next.

  • Financial aid holds, appeals, and what to do when something goes wrong.

What families can expect

  • Bilingual sessions in English and Spanish.

  • Clear, family-friendly explanations.

  • Practical guidance tied to real decisions.

  • A no-pressure way to learn before taking the next step.

Sometimes you do not need another webinar. You need someone to sit with your family, understand your specific situation, and help you figure out what to do next. That is what Navigate is for.

Navigate offers free one-on-one support for families who are facing a decision, deadline, question, or roadblock and want practical guidance in English or Spanish. Whether your student is just getting started or already in the middle of the process, you do not have to sort it out alone.
