Michelle Gutiérrez -
Founder & President
Michelle is a higher education professional with more than 14 years of experience in academic advising, student success, and program development. As a first-generation college graduate with deep roots in Texas border communities, she founded Anchored Pathways in 2025 to expand access to clear, accessible guidance for first-generation families navigating college, career, military, and financial aid decisions.
Melissa Meléndez - Board Member
Community Engagement
Melissa brings behavioral health, social work, and local resource expertise, helping Anchored Pathways stay grounded in family well-being and community trust.
Connie Leon - Board Member
Strategic Partnerships
Connie brings relationship-driven leadership and experience serving families across education, entrepreneurship, and local partnership development. She serves in an advisory and partnership capacity.
