Michelle Gutiérrez -

Founder & President

Michelle is a higher education professional with more than 14 years of experience in academic advising, student success, and program development. As a first-generation college graduate with deep roots in Texas border communities, she founded Anchored Pathways in 2025 to expand access to clear, accessible guidance for first-generation families navigating college, career, military, and financial aid decisions.

Carlos Lopez - Board Member
Financial Stewarship & Accountability

Carlos brings deep experience in auditing, IT controls, risk management, and financial oversight. He strengthens Anchored Pathways’ governance, transparency, and long-term sustainability.

Melissa Meléndez - Board Member
Well-Being & Mission Engagement

Melissa brings behavioral health, social work, and local resource expertise, helping Anchored Pathways stay grounded in family well-being and community trust.

Dora Treviño - Board Member
Secretary

Dora brings more than 30 years of experience across recruitment, admissions, business office operations, orientation, and student support. She understands the full enrollment journey from every angle.
